Job description

As a System Engineer Staff on the Medusa program, you develop the definition of the overall system architecture. In this role, you will:

  • Support the senior systems architect
  • Conduct trade studies
  • Develop and document the system architecture
  • Define the high-level functional, logical and physical architectures
  • Present architecture at design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR)
  • Coordinate with requirements team to ensure the requirements are aligned with the system architecture
  • Coordinate with test and validation teams to ensure architecture supports testability and maintainability

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in an engineering discipline

  • Experience in the overall system engineering lifecycle

  • Experience with missile, defense, aerospace, or related systems.

  • Working knowledge or experience with architecture development of missile, defense, aerospace, or related systems

  • Active Secret Security Clearance; US Citizenship Required

Desired skills

  • Knowledge of AGILE process

  • Experience with MBSE architecture tools

  • Experience in trade-off anlaysis, performance modeling, Ability to work remotely

Benefits & conditions

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Security Clearance Information This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Work Schedule 9x80 every other Friday off Select the Telework classification for this position Employee will work on-site full-time
