Job description

As a Security Engineer, SSO, you will be responsible for supporting and enhancing enterprise identity and access management solutions, with a focus on Single Sign-On (SSO), authentication, authorization, and security infrastructure. You will work closely with security and engineering teams to implement secure identity services, troubleshoot complex issues, and support modern authentication technologies in cloud-native environments. This role requires strong technical expertise in identity platforms, Kubernetes, scripting, and security operations to ensure reliable and secure access management across enterprise systems., * Implement, configure, and support enterprise Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions and identity platforms

  • Administer and troubleshoot Ping Identity products including PingFederate, PingID, and PingAccess
  • Support authentication, federation, authorization, and identity management initiatives
  • Develop scripts and automation solutions using Python and other scripting technologies
  • Manage and support containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes
  • Monitor security events and emerging threats affecting identity and access management systems
  • Assist in developing detection mechanisms and security controls based on emerging threats
  • Troubleshoot authentication, authorization, network, and security-related issues independently
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to implement secure access controls and best practices
  • Support passwordless authentication initiatives and modern identity security technologies
  • Analyze system logs, network traces, and security events to identify and resolve issues
  • Maintain documentation related to security configurations, processes, and operational procedures
  • Participate in security implementation, testing, and continuous improvement activities

Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • 3 5 years of experience in security engineering, identity management, or security implementation roles
  • Hands-on experience with PingFederate, PingID, and PingAccess
  • Strong knowledge of Single Sign-On (SSO), authentication, and federation technologies
  • Experience with scripting and automation using Python or similar languages
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes environments
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of Linux operating systems and system administration concepts
  • Understanding of network security technologies including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems
  • Experience with application security and enterprise security controls
  • Ability to analyze network traces and security-related incidents
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
  • Self-motivated and capable of managing tasks with minimal supervision
  • Experience with passwordless authentication solutions such as HYPR (preferred)
  • Familiarity with DDoS mitigation, traffic analysis, anomaly detection, wireless security, and VoIP security (preferred)
  • Knowledge of penetration testing methodologies and security assessment practices (preferred)
  • Experience with modern cloud-native security architectures and identity platforms (preferred)
