We are looking for an Information Governance & Privacy Manager to lead and strengthen our information governance framework in Belgium. In this strategic role, you will help ensure the responsible, compliant, and effective use of information and data while enabling business growth and innovation.
Working closely with teams across Privacy, Legal, IT, Security, Data Management, Product, and Client Services, you will act as a trusted advisor, driving best practices in information governance, compliance, and risk management.
What You'll Do
- Lead information governance initiatives across Belgium.
- Partner with business stakeholders to ensure compliance with privacy, security, contractual, intellectual property, and AI-related requirements.
- Promote practical, risk-based governance solutions that support business objectives.
- Develop and monitor governance metrics, KPIs, and continuous improvement plans.
- Support audits, risk assessments, CAPAs, and remediation activities.
- Collaborate with global governance and privacy teams to share best practices and drive consistency across the organization.
- Contribute to enterprise-wide governance initiatives and strategic priorities.
- Provide governance expertise in discussions with strategic data suppliers and partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience in information governance, data privacy, compliance, information security, or a related field.
- Strong project and stakeholder management skills, ideally in a complex or international environment.
- Ability to influence and collaborate across functions and seniority levels.
- Excellent communication skills, translating complex requirements into practical business guidance.
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset and strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of information governance principles, data lifecycle management, data classification, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
