The Global Procurement division is responsible for BASF's purchasing activities worldwide. We negotiate contracts that provide BASF with tangible added value. • You quickly understand business problems, ask insightful questions, challenge assumptions, and proactively develop solution ideas. You take ownership of outcomes and ensure that solutions address the underlying user and business needs.
• Once requirements are clear, you independently turn ideas into high-quality frontend solutions, delivering at pace while maintaining a strong focus on usability and quality.
• Your way of working involves continuously inspecting and adapting, while constructively challenging existing solutions, processes, and assumptions.
• You collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, designers, and developers, communicating complex topics in a clear and pragmatic way.

• currently enrolled in a university program in Software Engineering, Software Development, Computer Science, or a related field
• experience and passion for TypeScript and React and its core principles, including state management (e.g., React Hooks, Context API, Redux, Axios is a plus)
• basic understanding of REST APIs and how to integrate them into a React application
• experience in Material design, Ant design or styled-components is a plus
• fluent English communications skills, German is an advantage
