An opportunity for a Web Developer (m/f) for Spares, MRO & Training domain has arisen within Airbus Helicopters (Albacete), As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality web solutions for Airbus Helicopters users or customers.
You will work closely with business (Product Owners, Business Analysts) and digital colleagues (product manager and a tech lead) to ensure technical excellence and alignment with industry-specific requirements. Your goal is to develop, maintain, and optimize robust, scalable, and secure web applications that provide the highest possible value to the organization., * Development & Architecture: Implement modern web solutions based on defined architectures. Collaborate with the Tech Lead to ensure your code guarantees scalability, performance, and security.
- Business collaboration: With tech lead support if required, work with Product Owners and business stakeholders to understand functional requirements, participate in technical refinement, and estimate development efforts.
- Quality: Write clean, testable, and maintainable code. Actively participate in peer code reviews and proactively highlight technical debt to the Tech Lead for prioritization.
- Proactiveness & Tech Watch: Proactively identify pain points and spontaneously propose improvements regarding architecture, tools, security, or workflows. Stay updated with emerging web technologies and industry standards, and integrate them where appropriate.
- Operations & Crisis Management: Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide solutions to ensure the smooth operation of web applications. Maintain composure and strict methodology when managing complex production incidents and hotfixes.
- Technical Discovery & Evaluation: Support the Tech Lead in evaluating new business requests. Build PoCs (Proof of Concepts) to assess technical feasibility and mitigate risks before full-scale implementation.
- Release Process: Ensure your deliverables are strictly deployment-ready and support the Tech Lead during the release process to guarantee safe and successful deployments.
Requirements
With 1 to 5 years of experience, the selected candidate will join the AH Information Management Directorate, to develop reliable and secured web applications., * Front-end: Mastery of core web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, Javascript and Typescript). Strong expertise in Angular (React is a plus)
- Back-end: Strong expertise in Java and Spring / Spring Boot. Bonus: Python, Node.js (NestJS).
System & API Integration: Solid understanding of API concepts, service-oriented/microservices architectures, performance optimization, and web security basics (OWASP, authentication standards).
Code Quality & Standards: Strong commitment to best practices, code splitting, and optimization. Experience with automated testing and a Software Craftsmanship mindset. (Bonus: TDD, Clean Architecture, Domain-Driven Design).
Databases: Solid understanding of relational databases (SQL) and database design. (Bonus: NoSQL / MongoDB).
Advanced Git Workflow: High proficiency with Git commands and strict adherence to the team's versioning and branching strategies (e.g., GitFlow).
DevOps & Cloud Culture: Without needing to be an absolute DevOps expert, you must understand CI/CD principles and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). (Bonus: Red Hat OpenShift).
Bonus Technical Expertise
Enterprise E-Commerce & SAP Ecosystem (Significant Advantage): Proven experience with large-scale enterprise integrations, with a critical focus on SAP Hybris / SAP Commerce Cloud, alongside Mirakl Marketplace and core SAP environments (SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC6, ABAP).
Integration, Middleware & Event-Driven Architecture (Advantage): Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns and middleware platforms, with specific experience in Mulesoft (API Gateway & ESB), TIBCO ESB, or event-driven streaming solutions like Solace.
Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) skills
- Agile Methodology: Deep understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum), active participation, and natural integration into Agile ceremonies. (Bonus: Knowledge of SAFe framework at scale).
- Workflow Management: Mastery of tracking tools (Jira). Ability to break down user stories into clear, executable technical tasks.
- Quality Assurance: Proficiency in application testing (unit, functional, and integration testing) to ensure your deliverables are bug-free.
- Continuous Improvement: Ability to learn from difficult sprints or production issues and adapt coding habits accordingly.
- Technical Debt Management: Experience in identifying, prioritizing, and managing technical debt continuously within the development lifecycle.
- Effort Estimation: Ability to accurately estimate your technical effort and timelines to contribute to realistic sprint goals.
