Job description
The Infrastructure Manager leads the planning, delivery, and operation of IT infrastructure services to ensure availability, performance, resilience, and scalability. Oversees on-premise and cloud infrastructures (Azure, AWS), virtualization platforms, and corporate collaboration systems including SharePoint. Ensures reliable service delivery while operating within approved quality and information security frameworks. This position reports directly to the Digital Environment Director., * Plan, implement, and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, cloud services (Azure, AWS), and user environments (Windows & macOS), and collaboration platforms (SharePoint).
- Manage Azure and AWS cloud infrastructures, including virtual machine deployments, storage accounts, and blob storage administration.
- Ensure high availability, performance, business continuity, and disaster recovery capabilities.
- Lead and coordinate infrastructure and helpdesk teams, providing technical guidance and operational oversight.
- Manage infrastructure operations in alignment with approved security and quality requirements.
- Coordinate incident management, problem resolution, and escalation of critical infrastructure issues.
- Oversee infrastructure-related change implementation in accordance with change control procedures.
- Manage external vendors, service providers, and infrastructure-related contracts.
- Monitor infrastructure performance, capacity, and risks, proposing improvement and modernization initiatives.
- Maintain technical documentation related to infrastructure architecture and operations.
- Collaborate with Information Security, Quality Assurance, and Digital Environment functions to support compliant system operation.
- Protect information from unauthorised use or access and notify the Information Security Officer and the Management System Officer in the event of such unauthorised access or use.
- Abide by the internal regulations, raise concerns and breaches related to compliance obligations, and collaborate with Ethics & Compliance as required.
- Participate in scheduled company trainings.
- Lead the implementation of the Ethics and Compliance Program within their area of supervision and promote a compliance culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or vocational qualification in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related technical field.
- Initial to solid professional experience in IT infrastructure environments, including team coordination responsibilities.
- Experience leading or coordinating technical teams and day-to-day infrastructure operations.
- Strong technical knowledge of:
- Operating systems Windows and macOS (administration, deployment, troubleshooting).
- Advanced administration of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including SharePoint, Dynamics CRM, Exchange Online, anti-spam policy management, and security configuration across the tenant.
- Networking technologies: LAN, WAN, VPN, firewalls.
- Virtualization technologies and/or container platforms.
- Cloud infrastructure environments (AWS, Azure).
- Storage, backup, and recovery solutions.
- Experience managing external suppliers, service providers, and infrastructure-related budgets.
- Familiarity with information security standards and frameworks, including ISO/IEC 27001:2022, ENS, NIS 2.
- Ability to operate within regulated and compliance-driven environments.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Fluent English and Spanish.
