Test Engineer

Airbus CRISA (Airbus Defense & Space) is looking for a Test Engineer to join our technical team in Tres Cantos (Madrid area) across various space business areas such as Launchers, Earth Exploration, Space Exploration, and Commercial. This is an external temporary opportunity., The Test Engineer will participate in the development and design of electronic units for flight equipment, ensuring unit delivery in accordance with project schedule, cost and quality requirements. Key tasks include defining test procedures and associated scripts, automating and simplifying the validation process, performing nominal test campaigns (functional, environmental, and EMC tests), and completing qualification/acceptance of units to assure final compliance against customer requirements.

• Master's degree or equivalent in engineering or science discipline.
• At least two years of experience in validation and verification of electronic units.
• Negotiation-level proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
• Technical excellence and a challenge spirit.
• Digital mindset (automation of tasks, scripting, use of digital design tools and simulators).
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.

• Independent and autonomous working style., * Knowledge of space environment constraints and European space regulations (ESCC, SMD etc.).
