Oracle DevOps Engineer

Oracle Database as a Service (Oracle DBaaS) is part of the Data Services area and focuses on delivering multi-tenant Oracle database services to DevOps teams worldwide, with self-service capabilities. The six DBaaS squads, operating in different countries, oversee the full life-cycle of the service from inception through development, launch and support. In addition to the service, the squads are responsible for the hardware the service runs on., * Prepare and maintain the code repository and pipelines; create and test new DBaaS features.

• Interact with other ING teams to build and maintain consumer-facing features via a self-service portal.

• At least 6 years of experience with the Oracle RDBMS layer (RAC, DataGuard).
• Experience managing a multi-tenant Oracle environment.
• Well versed in Azure DevOps, CD/CI tools and pipelines.
• Scripting experience (Ansible, Bash).
• Good knowledge of Exadata.
• Linux RHEL experience.
• Experience building and running pipelines (Azure preferred).
• Proactive attitude and continuous improvement mindset.
• Good collaboration skills and teamwork across countries.
• Strong understanding of Agile-Scrum methodology (preferred).
• Focus on servicing consumers while avoiding technical debt.
• Excellent command of English.
