Job description

We are seeking to recruit a Customer Service operator with excellent communication skills to join our dynamic company.

  • Languages spoken: French as well as English. A third language such as Spanish or Portuguese are considered as added value.
  • Working Hours: our company provides customer support to several online gambling websites seven days per week 24 hours per day. Shifts last 12or 8 hours.

We are currently hiring candidates for our Evening/Night Shift as well as Day shifts.

You will be required to work Evening Shifts as well as Day Shift and occasionally work on weekends and bank holidays on a roster basis. Typically our customer service agents work 3 or 4 days per week for a total of approximately 160 working hours per month., Job Description: Customer Service operators are responsible for providing high quality 1st line customer support to our clients. They deal with any incoming queries via live chat, telephone or e-mail and provide assistance as needed.

Typical duties will include:

  • Working as part of our Customer Service Team in dealing with inbound and outbound phone calls, emails and live-chats (templates are provided).

  • Calling lapsed customers and new members to inform them of current promotional offers.

  • Liaising with other Customer Service Team members as well as other departments and escalating any issues in accordance with our existing procedures.

  • Reporting any technical issue directly to our software providers.

  • Presenting yourself in a professional manner and maintaining good relationships with clients and other members of staff at all times. Full training will be provided.

Requirements

Bilingual French and English. Knowledge of Spanish or Portuguese will be an advantage., Articulate, with clear verbal communication skills.

  • Strong written communication skills

  • Outstanding punctuality, dependability and reliability.

  • Previous experience of telephone or live-chat based customer service would be considered an added value.

  • Experience of a customer service role within the gambling sector would be considered an added value.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English as well as any of the above languages

  • Basic knowledge of online money processing (e.g. transactions via credit card, NETeller, Skrill, etc.)

  • Good knowledge of Windows Office

  • Team player and quick learner

  • Good observation skills

  • Able to spot atypical player behaviour

  • Communication (informing others, listening to instructions, passing on messages)

  • Organizational skills

  • Confident working under pressure

Benefits & conditions

  • Salary: customer service operators are paid pro rata and typically work 160-170 hours per month. The hourly rate is £14 per hour with the addition of £3.50 extra per hour when working weekends. The probation period typically lasts for 3 months.
