Job description
We are seeking a skilled Telecommunications Support Technician that will be responsible for providing technical support services to Virgin Technologies' customers in the use of all Virgin Technologies supported satellite, telecommunications and network technologies, including troubleshooting, upgrades, testing, implementation, problem diagnosis and resolution, or reassigning to appropriate Technical Services staff in compliance with Virgin Technologies' practices, policies, and procedures.
Requirements
Excellent verbal and written communication skills -Capable of working under pressure/using own initiative with minimal supervision -Ability to work shifts (10 & 12 hours) -Experience with oilfield drilling and completion an asset -Experience with Windows, Linux, Cent/OS, Free Switch IP Networking and real-time data acquisition an asset
