Job description

An ambitious and growing professional services organisation is looking for a Data & Systems Analyst to join its central team in Little Eaton. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on exciting business transformation projects, develop highly sought-after technical skills, and enjoy genuine career progression in a supportive environment.

With a 4-day working week, you'll have more time to enjoy life outside of work while continuing to build your career.

The Role

As a Data & Systems Analyst, you'll play a key role in supporting the organisation's systems, data and digital transformation projects. You'll help maintain core business systems, improve data quality, build reports and dashboards, and support the integration of newly acquired businesses.

This is a varied role that combines technical problem-solving, data analysis and systems administration, making it ideal for someone who enjoys learning new technologies and finding smarter ways of working.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting and maintaining core business systems.
  • Managing user access and system permissions.
  • Cleaning, validating and migrating data from multiple sources.
  • Building and maintaining dashboards and management reports.
  • Identifying opportunities to automate manual processes.
  • Supporting business acquisitions by integrating systems and data.
  • Troubleshooting system and data issues for internal users.
  • Working with colleagues across the business to improve processes and data quality.
  • Contributing to ongoing digital transformation projects.

Requirements

We're looking for someone who has:

  • A degree in a numerate subject or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Excellent Excel skills, including functions such as XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, SUMIFS and Pivot Tables.
  • A logical and analytical approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for working with data.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new technologies.
  • An interest in systems, automation and reporting.

Experience with Power BI, SQL, Python, systems administration or data migration would be advantageous but isn't essential-we're looking for someone with the right attitude and a desire to develop.

Benefits & conditions

  • Salary up to £31,000
  • Genuine 4-day working week
  • Clear career progression with opportunities to grow as the business expands.
  • Ongoing training and professional development.
  • Exposure to modern systems, automation and business intelligence tools.
  • The opportunity to be involved in large-scale digital transformation and acquisition projects.
  • A collaborative, supportive team where your ideas are encouraged and valued.

If you're looking for a role where you can develop your technical skills, make a real impact and build a long-term career within a growing organisation, we'd love to hear from you.
