Job description

  • Lead the immediate transition and consolidation of legacy ERP environments into a single IFS Cloud platform. Own the long-term strategic direction, governance, and continuous roadmap evolution to maximise future system value.
  • Define and maintain the future-state enterprise architecture, ensuring all core business applications and systems align with long-term business strategy.
  • Oversee integration architecture, data flows, and system connectivity to ensure a clean, simplified application landscape during and after the migration.
  • Drive improvements in reporting, data visibility, and analytics by standardising master data structures across the newly unified environment.
  • Ensure systems remain secure, stable, compliant, and aligned to business needs throughout the transition period.
  • Lead the internal business systems team and coordinate delivery across external technical partners, software vendors, and system integrators.
  • Act as the strategic advisor and go-to expert for complex ERP, enterprise architecture, and application challenges.

Requirements

  • Strong background working with ERP platforms, including specific expertise in IFS implementations or IFS Cloud environments.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale ERP consolidation or transformation projects, ideally migrating from multiple legacy systems to a single platform.
  • Understanding of enterprise architecture principles, application mapping, and landscape simplification.
  • Extensive experience operating across integrated systems, with strong knowledge of APIs, middleware, and complex data migration strategies.
  • Exposure to cloud-based ERP upgrades, evergreen release cycles, and ongoing platform improvement.
  • Strong familiarity with reporting, data standardisation, and enterprise analytics tools.
  • Thorough understanding of security, access control, compliance, and risk mitigation during major system transitions.
  • Experience leading business systems teams and managing strategic relationships with external suppliers and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Deep alignment with core enterprise workflows and business processes such as finance, supply chain, and manufacturing.
