Job description
As a Sr. ServiceNow Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing ServiceNow solutions that improve IT service management and operational workflows across the organization. You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, deliver scalable technical solutions, and ensure seamless integration of ServiceNow capabilities with enterprise systems. This role requires strong expertise in ServiceNow development, ITSM and ITOM practices, workflow automation, and platform customization, along with the ability to mentor team members and drive platform innovation., * Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions, custom applications, integrations, and platform enhancements
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather, analyze, and refine requirements
- Configure and customize ServiceNow modules, workflows, forms, and business processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within the ServiceNow platform
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, solution designs, and user guides
- Perform Service Mapping, Discovery, and Event Management configurations to improve operational visibility and efficiency
- Conduct code reviews and participate in architecture and design discussions
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, security requirements, and platform best practices
- Support automation initiatives that improve service delivery and operational processes
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership to the development team
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business objectives

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and administration
- Strong experience developing and customizing ServiceNow applications and workflows
- Proficiency with ServiceNow APIs, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM) processes
- Experience implementing and supporting ServiceNow modules including ITSM, Customer Service Management (CSM), and Hardware Asset Management (HAM)
- Experience with Service Mapping, Discovery, and Event Management configurations
- Knowledge of workflow automation, system integrations, and enterprise service management practices
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership
- Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation and system design artifacts
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certification (preferred)
- ServiceNow Implementation Specialist certification (preferred)
- Experience leading ServiceNow platform enhancements and enterprise implementations (preferred)
- Experience mentoring developers and providing technical leadership (preferred)
