Job description

We are offering an exciting, fast-paced work environment with one of our long-standing MSP clients in the Bakersfield area. We are looking for someone who is positive, resourceful, and passionate about IT. If you enjoy troubleshooting complex technical issues, supporting end users, and working in a collaborative environment, this could be the perfect next step in your career., * Provide Tier II technical support for end users, resolving escalated issues

  • Troubleshoot and support problems related to operating systems, business applications, printing, and network systems
  • Support and maintain Windows OS (7/8/10) and Windows Server (2008 R2/2012 R2/2016)
  • Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft Office/365 environments (2007-2016, 365)
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting of networking issues (DNS, switches, firewalls, VPN)
  • Document incidents and resolutions with clear, detailed notes
  • Collaborate with Tier I and Tier III teams on projects and escalations

Requirements

  • 2+ years of IT support experience (Help Desk / Service Desk)
  • Strong Windows OS and Windows Server support experience
  • Solid Microsoft Office/365 administration and support skills
  • Working knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, switches, firewalls, VPN)
  • Familiarity with operating systems, business applications, printing, and network systems
  • MSP (Managed Service Provider) experience is a plus
