Cloud Architect in Salt Lake City

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced GCP Solution Architect with strong expertise in design and architecture on Google Cloud. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building fault-tolerant, scalable solutions for multiple clients and will be responsible from sales to delivery pitch. You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying cloud solutions and also mentor existing resources on multiple initiatives that are in different stages of implementation)., 1. Required8+ years of IT experience with 3-5 years in cloud architecture/consulting roles \n

1. Client Advisory & ConsultingAct as a trusted advisor to clients on cloud strategy, architecture, and modernization \n

2. Lead client workshops to assess current-state architecture and define future-state GCP solutions \n

3. Translate business objectives into cloud- and hybrid GCP architectures \n

4. Provide architectural governance and ensure adherence to client standards \n

5. Solution Architecture & DeliveryDesign end-to-end GCP architectures covering compute, data, networking, security, and DevOps \n

6. Define cloud migration and modernization approaches (re-host, re-platform, re-architect) \n

7. Architect solutions using GKE, Cloud Run, BigQuery, Cloud SQL, VPC, IAM, and related services \n

8. Ensure solutions meet non-functional requirements (security, performance, resilience, cost) \n

9. Review designs, code, and infrastructure for quality and best practices \n

10. Presales & Thought LeadershipSupport presales activities including solutioning, effort estimation, and proposal responses \n

11. Contribute to RFPs/RFIs, architecture decks, and client presentations \n

12. Provide technical leadership during bid pursuits and client demos \n

13. Contribute to cloud accelerators, reference architectures, and best practices \n

14. Governance, Security & OptimizationDefine IAM models, security controls, logging, monitoring, and compliance frameworks \n

15. Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines \n

16. Drive cost optimization (FinOps) and operational excellence \n

17. Support audits, security reviews, and production readiness \n
