Job description
- Configure and deploy client environments across CRIMS / OMS platforms
- Execute end-to-end upgrades, including application deployment, batch configuration, and system integrations
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across batch processes, interfaces, configurations, and system performance
- Perform log analysis and root cause investigation for technical issues and defects
- Support system testing, validation, and go-live activities to ensure production readiness
- Assess client infrastructure and environments for upgrade compatibility and readiness
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define technical requirements, dependencies, and delivery plans
- Develop and execute upgrade plans, including timelines, resource requirements, and risk mitigation
- Lead technical implementation activities, including installation, configuration, and environment validation
- Coordinate with development and QA teams to ensure a smooth transition and issue resolution during upgrades
- Implement deployment approaches that minimize downtime and disruption to client operations
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, best practices, and operational procedures throughout delivery
- Act as the primary technical contact during upgrades, managing issues and communications with stakeholders
- Escalate complex technical issues or system-level failures to appropriate engineering teams

Requirements
- Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and root cause analysis skills
- Hands-on experience with MS SQL Server and/or Sybase
- Solid understanding of batch processing, job scheduling, and system integrations
- Familiarity with infrastructure components (servers, operating systems, monitoring tools)
- Experience within financial services, investment management, or trading systems (CRIMS preferred)
- Exposure to networking, scripting, XML, programming languages, scheduling tools, monitoring platforms, and disaster recovery/business continuity practices
- Strong problem-solving mindset with a high degree of ownership and accountability
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality client outcomes
- Ability to work independently within the defined delivery scope
