Job description

We are seeking a full-stack Software Engineer to join a large retail client in the Pittsburgh area. This person will join the product team working on upgrades, developing new features, and routine maintenance of the applications related to merchandising and purchasing for the organization. Key responsibilities include:

  • Partner with product, architecture, and engineering teams to design, build, and support next-gen merchandising tools
  • Own development across the full lifecycle
  • Act as a problem solver and domain expert to translate business into scalable technical solutions
  • Support ongoing system enhancements roadmap execution, and performance optimization in an Agile team Delivery upon user stories and requirements in a timely manner to meet sprint deadlines

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree

  • 7-10+ Years professional experience as a software engineer deploying scalable solutions
  • Strong C# and .NET Core technologies
  • Proven experience with hands-on Angular front end development, preferably in a SQL server environment
  • Experience working in an Agile product team with expectations around standups, refinement, and backlog refinement Exposure working in Event Diven Architectures (RabbitMQ or other)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

  • Retail/Merchandising domain
  • Data heavy/large-data platforms
  • Experience with AKS, complex UI components libraries, and messaging frameworks Experience mentoring junior engineers and contributing to team leadership
