Job description
Manages pre-cap and final source inspections. Creates data packages for space and high-reliability products. Analyzes S2P data, creates as-built and as-designed listings, verifies traceability data, and ensures production documentation is present. Creates data reports for key products which require electronic data submission. Follows various templates for data analysis. Tests both in-process and customer-returned products to validate issues and help determine root causes. Validates procedures and documentation; assists in writing and changing documentation. Inspects products to various standards including J-STD-001 and best manufacturing practices. Facilitates the creation and completion of First Article Inspections (FAI) and Failure Analysis Reports (FAR). Contributes to continuous improvement efforts. Requirements
Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Good documentation skills and recording ability. Precise and able to follow instructions exactly. Attention to detail, ensuring accuracy of various data reports. Knowledge of how to use various test equipment - network analyzers, oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, power supplies, ovens, spectrum analyzers, etc. - is desired. Understanding of J-STD-001 standard regarding materials, methods, and acceptance criteria for producing soldered components and electronic assemblies. Good communication skills. Organized and reliable. Education, Experience and Training: Associate's degree in electrical or electronics engineering with more than 2 years of applicable experience. Applicable military experience is acceptable., Able to handle ITAR data without a license.
