Student - Impact Associate - Data Specialist

The Center for Social Impact is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Specialist to join our team. This paid position offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data gathering, synthesis, and analysis. This position will be working directly with the Assistant Director and will provide support to the Center's programs. The Data Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting our outreach efforts and ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of our programs., * Gather and organize data from various sources, including surveys, event attendance, and programs.

• Synthesize and analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support the Center's initiatives.
• Assist in the preparation and compilation of the annual report, ensuring data accuracy and clarity.
• Collaborate with the Strategy Impact Fellows and Assistant Director to support data-driven decision-making.
• Prepare visualizations, charts, and reports to communicate data findings effectively.

• Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, Tableau, or similar software).
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to the values of inclusion and equity.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with statistical analysis and reporting.
• Knowledge of database management and data security best practices.
• Familiarity with UVU student life and campus culture.
