Job description

Reporting to the Senior IT Manager - Business Services, the IT Services Administrator is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Company's IT infrastructure, systems, and enterprise applications. This role provides technical leadership in system administration, supports the design and implementation of technology solutions, and ensures the reliability, security, and performance of business-critical systems.

The IT Services Administrator evaluates business and technical requirements, recommends scalable solutions, and collaborates with internal stakeholders and vendors to support operational and strategic initiatives. This position also conducts technical research and drives continuous improvement efforts to enhance system efficiency, security, and overall IT service delivery., The following duties are representative of the work performed. Additional duties may be assigned as necessary to support business operations.

  • Lead the implementation, administration, and continuous improvement of enterprise systems, applications, servers, and IT infrastructure to ensure reliability, security, and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain system administration standards, procedures, configurations, and documentation in accordance with business and operational requirements.
  • Provide technical leadership, guidance, and training to IT support staff and serve as an escalation point for complex infrastructure and system-related issues.
  • Monitor and maintain the performance, availability, and integrity of servers, networks, applications, storage systems, and other critical technology resources.
  • Manage system security, access controls, vulnerability monitoring, patch management, and compliance with company security standards and best practices.
  • Oversee backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes to ensure the protection and recoverability of business-critical data and systems.
  • Plan, coordinate, and perform system maintenance activities, including software updates, operating system upgrades, hardware deployments, and implementation of new technology solutions.
  • Administer user accounts, permissions, and system access while ensuring adherence to company policies and security requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to support IT projects, technology initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Maintain data center infrastructure and environmental monitoring systems to support stable and secure operations.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in systems administration, IT infrastructure, network administration, database administration, software support, or related information technology functions.
  • Experience supporting enterprise business applications and ERP systems; experience with SAP environments, including SAP S/4HANA, is preferred.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled productivity and automation tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, SAP Joule, or similar technologies.
  • Professional certifications such as Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), ITIL, PMP, Azure, AWS, or other relevant technology certifications are preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of system administration, IT operations, security practices, infrastructure management, and technical troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, analyze complex issues, and develop effective technical solutions.
  • Strong project coordination, communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams while providing excellent customer service and technical support.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to exercise sound judgment and independent decision-making in a fast-paced environment.

· Ability to travel frequently and visit construction sites and operating stores.

· Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and inspect equipment installations.

· Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs occasionally.

· Ability to occasionally lift or move items weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

· Ability to work in a combination of office and construction site environments, including exposure to varying temperatures, dust, noise, and other conditions typical of construction sites and retail store locations.

· Ability to climb stairs and access different areas of construction or retail project sites as needed.
