The SAP S/4 UX Architect is responsible for defining, designing, and governing the end-to-end user experience across SAP S/4HANA platforms for both back-office and field/mobile workforce. This role ensures consistent, intuitive, and role-based experiences leveraging SAP Fiori, SAP Build Work Zone, and mobile solutions.
The SAP S/4 UX Architect provides the link between the Business Architecture function and Enterprise Architecture & Strategy function. Utilizes multiple Architectural Views to document the "as-is" (current) and "to-be" (future) technology needs. Ensures requirements are met in an efficient, sustainable and adaptable manner. Operates across organizational and computing areas driving efficient, standards-based architecture supporting PG&E's business goals.
This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and Oakland, CA approximately 3 days per week, or more, based on business needs or company requirements., * Define SAP UX strategy and roadmap aligned to enterprise goals
- Establish UX standards, governance, and reusable design patterns
- Design role-based experiences for back-office and field personas
- Lead SAP Fiori and Work Zone architecture and implementation
- Design offline-capable mobile-first field experiences
- Simplify SAP transactions into intuitive workflows
- Integrate UX across SAP, GIS, and Field Mobility systems
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and journey mapping
- Drive adoption, training, and change management
Solution Design and Road mapping: Works in partnership with a project manager to orchestrate the architecture design and is accountable for the overall technical quality of solutions. Follows the IT Methodology, producing, contributing to and providing signoffs on deliverables as defined. SA's manage and govern the technical solutions across the portfolio of projects within their focus area.
Future State Planning and Road mapping: Works with Business Architects and Technology Architects to contribute to planning and road mapping activities.
Standards and Governance: Participates in the governance processes as defined by the PG&E architecture practice.
Capabilities Assessment and Technology Oversight: Partners with the Technical Architects in the health evaluation of the technology within the architect's focus area and assists in the development of improvement plans for their area of focus
Architecture Practice: Shapes and follows the PG&E Architecture Practice. Helps drive continuous improvement of the practice. Leads communities within the practice. Mentors other architects.

- 10 years experience in SAP UX or enterprise architecture or related

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA transformations
- Strong expertise in SAP Fiori, Work Zone, and SAP BTP
- Experience designing for both enterprise and mobile workforce
- Strong stakeholder engagement and leadership skills

The actual amount paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, internal equity,specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, and geographic location. The range to reasonably expect will be between the minimum and midpoint listed below. The final decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to the factors above. This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E's discretionary incentive compensation programs.
Bay Area Min: $155,000.00
Bay Area Mid: $210,000.00
