Job description
The Client is seeking an experienced GCP Cloud Engineer to support cloud migration and modernization initiatives. The engineer will design, deploy, and manage enterprise-grade Google Cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) while working within a DevOps environment. The role also includes cloud automation, security, monitoring, CI/CD implementation, and Tier-2 production support. Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage GCP infrastructure using Terraform (IaC).
- Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Configure and manage VPCs, Shared VPCs, Compute Engine, storage, networking, and cloud services.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and observability solutions.
- Collaborate with security and IAM teams to implement secure cloud environments.
- Develop and maintain cloud standards, SOPs, and governance practices.
- Evaluate new GCP services and recommend adoption.
- Provide Tier-2 troubleshooting and participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation.
Requirements

5+ years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure.

5+ years of Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform (or similar).

Ideal Candidate: A senior GCP Cloud Engineer with strong Terraform, DevOps, CI/CD, cloud networking, automation, and enterprise infrastructure experience who can independently deliver secure, scalable cloud solutions in a government environment.
