Job description
Keystone Solutions is seeking a Senior Data Engineer for a consultancy mission at a client site. The client is working on a modern data platform to share high-quality health-related information. As a Data Engineer, you will play a key role in developing various components of this data platform, including a data validation engine and a master data hub, utilizing Azure Databricks and DevOps practices.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform functional analysis of the project's data requirements.
- Design, build, and deploy a data hub connected to several referentials and master data sources, including specific CRUD and data transformation functionalities.
- Develop and maintain REST interfaces and connector services supporting data exchange, configuration, validation, and integration with the data platform.
- Participate in the development of a data validation engine solution to check data quality of different external data sources.
- Test the developed solution, conduct troubleshooting, provide maintenance, and adequate technical documentation.
- Conduct prototype reviews and demos, including training for users.
- Work with the Project Leader throughout the project lifecycle to ensure appropriate delivery in an agile and pragmatic approach.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 7 years of experience as a Data Engineer in the Microsoft BI stack (Visual Studio, SSIS, SQL Server from a development perspective).
- Data functional analysis experience.
- Good experience in Azure Databricks & Python.
- Experience in REST API is a plus.
- Experience with data analytics design (Kimball dimensional modeling).
- Experience in master data management and data quality controls is definitely a plus.
- Experience in working in an agile project mode is a plus.
