Job description

To support our growing HMI team, we are looking for a hands-on and structured engineer who will assist in the development, integration, and release of HMI (Human Machine Interface) systems for our e-bikes.

This role focuses on execution and technical support, working closely with the HMI team, internal stakeholders, and external suppliers.

How You'll make an Impact

  • Support the development of HMI features from concept to production
  • Assist in defining and refining hardware and software requirements
  • Support firmware development and validation:
  • Assist in implementation and testing of new features
  • Help debug and track issues
  • Contribute to a smooth transition to production:
  • Support end-of-line testing and manufacturing topics
  • Track and follow up on production-related issues
  • Ensure documentation is complete and up to date
  • Assist in release preparation and tracking:
  • Maintain release notes and documentation
  • Support communication of changes to internal stakeholders
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams:
  • Motor, Battery, Digital, Mechanical, and Quality
  • Help track dependencies and ensure alignment
  • Support testing and validation activities:
  • Track bugs and support root cause analysis
  • Assist in resolving field issues
  • Maintain technical documentation (e.g., Jira, Confluence)

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience (or relevant internships) in:
  • Embedded systems, firmware, or electronics development
  • Consumer electronics, automotive, or similar industries
  • Basic knowledge of:
  • Embedded systems and firmware development
  • Communication protocols (e.g., CAN, BLE, USB)
  • Structured and detail-oriented working style
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
  • Fluent in English
