Job description
You will play a key role in developing robust, high-performance embedded applications running on modern System-on-Chip (SoC) platforms, contributing across the full software lifecycle-from architecture and implementation to testing and deployment.
- Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for Linux-based systems
- Develop and optimize applications for System-on-Chip (SoC) platforms
- Define and implement clean, scalable, and well-documented APIs
- Collaborate on the development of web-based GUIs for system control and monitoring
- Integrate software with hardware components and ensure system-level functionality
- Perform debugging, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of embedded systems
- Participate in code reviews and ensure software quality and maintainability
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including hardware, system engineering, and product management
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in embedded software development
- Strong programming skills in C/C++ (additional languages are a plus)
- Solid experience with Linux (kernel and/or user space)
- Experience working with SoC architectures and low-level hardware interfaces
- Experience designing and implementing APIs
- Familiarity with network protocols and embedded communication interfaces
- Experience with web technologies (e.g., REST APIs, HTML/CSS/JavaScript) for GUI development
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Fluent English (mandatory); German is a strong advantage, * Experience in wireless communication or signal-processing applications
- Knowledge of real-time systems and embedded security
- Familiarity with build systems and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
