Job description
- Designing, developing, and maintaining our interior editor utilizing Three.js and WebGL.
- Applying object-oriented programming (OOP) principles to architect clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
- Implementing complex 3D geometries, lighting, shadows, and animations by leveraging vector math.
- Optimizing the application for peak performance, scalability, and responsiveness.
- Crafting robust and comprehensive tests to guarantee the reliability and usability of the editor.
- Remaining current with emerging trends and advancements in web technology.
Requirements
We're seeking a Frontend Engineer who aligns with the dedication to crafting clean and reusable code utilizing JavaScript and TypeScript. This position requires proficiency in object-oriented programming (OOP) principles, substantial expertise in Three.js, and a strong grasp of vector math. It's important to note that our client adheres to strict coding standards and technical requirements.
Overall tech stack: PHP 7.4(8.1), Symfony, PHPUnit, MySQL, Redis, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, Git, Docker.
For the front-end part: Native Javascript, JQuery (legacy code), Typescript, Three.js (OpenGL), SVG, Canvas, WebGL, Webpack, Websocket, Jest (unit tests), Docker., * Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics.
- Profound proficiency in TypeScript (4+ years of commercial experience)
- Sound comprehension of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
- Demonstrated expertise with Three.js or analogous WebGL frameworks for 3D web development.
- Knowledge of vector mathematics.
- Outstanding problem-solving capabilities, coupled with a creative and analytical mindset.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Fluent level of English (Russian will be a huge plus).
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with design and 3D modeling software such as Blender.
- Contributions to open-source projects or a portfolio showcasing personal projects in 3D web development.
- Experience with front-end development tools and frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular.
- Understanding of web performance optimization techniques and responsive design principles.
