Embedded Software Engineer

• Design, implement, and test embedded software as part of high-tech product development projects.

Focus areas include:

• Selection and configuration of Embedded Linux kernels, with a strong focus on Yocto.
• Configuration of Board Support Packages (BSPs).
• Selection and customization of required Linux services.
• Development and testing of customer-specific applications.
• Serve as the technical point of contact for customers.
• Report project plans and progress to the Program Manager.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues in mechanics and electronics to deliver complete solutions.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Embedded Linux development, with strong Yocto expertise.
• Experience in software development with C/C++, Qt/QML, and scripting languages.
• Skilled in creating requirements, software architecture, design, and test documentation.
• Comfortable reading electronic schematics and understanding the hardware-software interface.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Curious and adaptable, able to quickly understand new products and software solutions.
• Enjoy working across the full product scope while maintaining direct customer interaction.
