Job description
As a Senior Network Security Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and operation of our global network and security infrastructure. As one of the senior members of the team, you will help shape the future direction of the network domain while ensuring a secure, stable, and compliant environment., * Design, implement, and maintain secure and highly available network infrastructure.
- Lead network and security-related projects and technical improvements.
- Drive network security, resilience, and operational excellence across the environment.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, the CISO organization, and external service providers.
- Contribute to audits, risk management, governance, and regulatory compliance activities.
- Act as a senior technical expert within the team, mentoring colleagues and helping to define the network roadmap., * An attractive gross monthly salary based on a 36-hour work week, including holiday allowance and a flexible benefit budget. In this role we expect you to have a 40 hour work week.

Requirements

- Passion for your field of expertise, You are an experienced Network Security Engineer who thrives in a complex, mission-critical environment where performance, resilience, and security are paramount. You combine deep technical expertise with a pragmatic, hands-on approach and take ownership of network and security challenges from design through implementation and operations. You are comfortable working independently, collaborating across global teams, and driving solutions in a fast-paced environment where stability, availability, and security are non-negotiable., * 7+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise networking and network security, preferably in a regulated or financial-services environment.
- Strong experience with Cisco networking technologies, including routing, switching, and core network protocols (e.g., BGP and OSPF).
- Proven experience with network security technologies, including firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS solutions.
- Experience designing and supporting secure, highly available data center and enterprise network environments.
- Strong understanding of security-by-design principles and secure network architecture.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
