Job description

Together for Children is investing in a modern Microsoft Fabric data platform that will transform how we use data to support children, young people and families across Sunderland.

This is a unique opportunity to join us at a critical stage of our data transformation programme. As our Business Intelligence & Data Platform Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping, developing and embedding a new data platform from the ground up. You will oversee the development of our Microsoft Fabric and Power BI environment, ensuring it delivers meaningful insight and meets the changing needs of services.

You will work closely with ICT colleagues, implementation partners and service leaders to develop high-quality data products, establish reporting standards, and embed best practice across the organisation. You'll also provide line management to our Data Platform Product & Business Analyst and technical leadership across the wider BI function.

You will also play a key role in ensuring knowledge transfer from implementation partners, helping to build sustainable in-house expertise and capability as our new platform evolves.

"Due to recent changes in UKVI rules, this role does not meet the criteria for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship under the updated eligibility requirements effective 22 July 2025."
