Job description

Job Title: Rate: £500 (Inside IR35) Duration: 6 months Location: Remote Clearance: BPSS Stages: 1 Stage

Must Have Government Experience

Key Skills Required:

  • Strong experience in Java and Spring Boot
  • Hands-on experience with JavaScript (React.js, Angular, or Node.js preferred)
  • Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices
  • Knowledge of Spring Framework, Hibernate/JPA
  • Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
  • Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MySQL)
  • Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is desirable
  • Cloud experience (AWS or Azure) is a plus
  • Agile/Scrum development experience

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications.
  • Develop scalable Java Back End services and JavaScript-based Front End applications.
  • Integrate REST APIs and third-party services.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.

Requirements
