Job description
You will lead the College's MIS function, ensuring the delivery of accurate, timely and compliant management information across all curriculum areas. Working closely with senior leaders, you will oversee funding returns, learner data, reporting and systems development while driving continuous improvement across the MIS service.
This role plays a critical part in supporting curriculum planning, funding maximisation and regulatory compliance., * Lead and develop the College's Management Information Systems function.
- Ensure the accuracy and timely submission of ILR, ESFA, OfS and other statutory returns.
- Maximise funding through robust data management and compliance.
- Produce strategic management information, reports and business intelligence to support senior leadership.
- Lead on learner funding audits and act as the key contact for external auditors and inspectors.
- Oversee MIS systems development, reporting and digital services.
- Support curriculum planning through accurate data analysis and funding expertise.
- Ensure compliance with funding regulations across Further Education, Higher Education and Apprenticeship provision.
Requirements
To be considered, you will have:
- Essential: Previous Management Information Systems leadership experience within a Further Education College.
- Extensive knowledge of ILR, ESFA funding rules, learner funding and compliance.
- Experience managing statutory funding returns and learner data.
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into meaningful business insight.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A degree or relevant professional qualification.
A management qualification would be advantageous.
