Job description

  • Provide onsite Level 2 IT support across a mixed Microsoft Windows and Apple Mac environment, resolving a broad range of hardware, software and end-user issues.
  • Support and maintain Microsoft 365 services, Windows devices, Mac devices and on-premises server infrastructure, ensuring reliable day-to-day IT operations.
  • Act as the primary onsite escalation point, troubleshooting complex technical issues and coordinating with third-party providers for specialist support when required.
  • Work collaboratively with the IT Manager and internal IT team to ensure efficient incident resolution, service continuity and a high standard of customer support.
  • Assist with infrastructure monitoring, system administration and proactive maintenance while documenting issues, resolutions and technical processes.

Requirements

  • Proven experience providing Level 2 IT support within a Microsoft 365, Windows, Mac and on-premises server environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, Windows desktop support, Active Directory and general server troubleshooting.
  • Experience working alongside third-party vendors, including coordinating support for VMware infrastructure, Sophos firewall and antivirus solutions and remote Mac support providers.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving and customer service skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in an onsite support role.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal IT teams and external service providers.
