Job description

Our client is looking for a number of QA Analysts to join their team on a 12 month initial contract working hybrid out of one of client sites in either Newcastle, London, Leeds, Manchester, Blackpool or Sheffield. This role is Inside IR35 and requires active SC clearance.

Essential skills/knowledge/experience:

  • Strong experience in test automation using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, REST Assured, and Cucumber (BDD)
  • Experience testing modern web applications built using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Node.js ecosystems
  • Hands-on experience building and maintaining automation frameworks for UI and API testing
  • Strong experience in unit testing, TDD, and BDD practices (Gherkin style)
  • Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated testing into build processes
  • Strong understanding of testing life cycle including test design, execution, defect management, and reporting
  • Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban) and applying shift-left testing principles
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
  • Experience identifying risks and applying context-driven testing approaches
  • Demonstrable experience with modern programming or Scripting languages
