Job description
This is a long-term contract initially running until the end of the year, with every expectation that it will continue beyond this. What you'll be doing
- Processing purchase orders for IT hardware, software and consumables.
- Ordering equipment from approved suppliers.
- Processing invoices and supporting the recharge process.
- Maintaining accurate IT asset records.
- Updating information within ServiceNow and internal systems.
- High-volume data entry and record management.
- Producing reports using Microsoft Excel.
- Arranging deliveries, courier collections and storage of IT equipment.
- Receiving deliveries and distributing equipment throughout the office.
- Taking outgoing post to reception several times a day.
- Supporting continuous improvements to administrative processes.
- Working to agreed service levels and maintaining exceptionally high levels of accuracy.

Working within a friendly, supportive team of four, you will play an important role in ensuring the smooth running of the company's IT Asset & Procurement function. This is a varied administrative role where attention to detail, organisation and reliability are essential., This role will suit someone who genuinely enjoys structured, process-driven administration and takes pride in producing accurate work.
You will ideally have:
- Previous administration, data entry or data processing experience.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
- Experience working with large volumes of information.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- A positive, proactive attitude.
- Strong communication skills.
- The ability to work accurately whilst carrying out repetitive administrative tasks.
Previous procurement or IT experience would be beneficial but is not essential, as full training will be provided., If you enjoy working in a structured environment where accuracy and attention to detail are highly valued, we would love to hear from you.
Benefits & conditions
- Monday to Friday.
- Shift rota between 8:00am and 5:30pm.
- One-hour unpaid lunch break.
- Office based five days per week.
Please note
This role involves regularly collecting deliveries from reception and distributing IT equipment throughout the office. You should therefore be comfortable lifting and carrying items weighing up to approximately 5kg. Lifts and trolleys are available where required. Why apply?
