Job description

We're seeking a Software Engineer to support our growing Continuous Integration (CI) and Test Infrastructure organization. This engineer will partner closely with the technical lead to build, improve, and scale internal CI infrastructure, tooling, and automation that enables engineering teams across the organization., Develop and improve CI infrastructure and automation. Build and maintain internal tooling. Enable engineering teams to onboard tests into CI pipelines. Support build infrastructure and continuous integration systems. Partner with multiple engineering teams to improve developer workflows. Leverage AI tools to improve engineering productivity and internal workflows. Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and investigate complex technical problems. Learn Meta's internal infrastructure and become a key technical partner for the team.

Requirements

The ideal candidate does not need deep experience in Meta's tooling or CI systems. Instead, we're looking for someone with strong software fundamentals, Python experience, and the desire to learn complex infrastructure systems., BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience. Ability to read and write production-quality code. Strong Python programming skills. Excellent debugging and problem-solving abilities. Self-motivated with strong ownership. Comfortable working in ambiguous environments. Strong communication skills. Passion for learning new technologies., Experience with CI/CD systems. Build automation experience. Test infrastructure or test automation. Embedded systems exposure. Hardware/software integration experience. Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or similar hardware projects. C++ experience. Hardware validation experience. Familiarity with AI-assisted software development tools., Curious and eager to learn. Self-directed. Takes initiative. Enjoys solving infrastructure problems. Comfortable digging into unfamiliar systems. Excited to work closely with a technical lead and grow into the role. Interested in building long-term expertise in infrastructure engineering rather than simply consuming existing CI systems.
