Job description
The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. The starting salary range represents the College's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Pay Grade: AL Job Summary Coordinate, market, improve, implement, and support the services provided by the Academic Achievement Center, Computer Lab, and Testing Center at the Urban campus. Serve as the Disability Services liaison. Essential Functions Provide oversight of opening and closing the physical AAC space Monday through Friday. Manage service and supply orders. Address student issues as they arise. Be a resource for faculty and staff within the space regarding DMACC. Ensure that staff have needed resources. Assist in staff development. Manage budget for AAC, Testing Center, and Computer Lab part-time, and adjunct staffing. Provide day-to-day support to the Testing Center, including working shifts as needed. Achieve proctor status in over 15 different assessments. Act as signatory for contracts with outside test companies. Trouble shoot technology issues when they arise. Work cooperatively with DMACC Testing Center Teams. Direct the campus wide service of DMACC Online Tutoring (DOT). Provide training on technology such as Canvas. Communicate information to all staff on a regular basis to keep them informed. Ensure that computer labs at DMACC Urban are staffed to provide tech support to students. Promote the areas above through collaborative meetings and directed marketing efforts. Ensure that faculty, students, and staff are aware of the services provided on the Urban campus. Ensure that students who receive accommodations are given those accommodations inside and outside the classroom. Communicate with faculty about expectations. Train faculty as needed. Requirements

Two years of educational experience that includes academic support coordination, coordination of or experience in a computer lab, test proctoring/assessment experience, or other related educational experience that includes significant public interaction. Knowledge of current college educational testing and student services practices. Willingness to obtain the HiSET Test Examiner Certification. Willingness to obtain the ACCUPLACER Training Certification. Strong communication skills. Ability to plan, schedule, problem solve, organize, and manage time. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain a professional working relationship with a wide variety of individuals coming from varied backgrounds. Knowledge of current software applications. Desired Qualifications Master's degree in higher education, administration, or related area. Work experience in a community college. Experience in the administration of web-based testing. Experience with administrative support for faculty regarding disability services, academic support, peer- tutoring and/or related support.
