Join the Advanced Data Solutions team within Compression Service at Siemens Energy, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping our digital future. Imagine designing, building, and operating cutting-edge data products and AI-powered applications that enhance our global service business. You will take charge of our cloud data platform, develop robust data pipelines from ERP and CRM systems, and introduce AI solutions, including Large Language Models, to empower business users. Collaborating with developers and stakeholders across international locations, you will transform complex data into actionable insights, streamlining processes and driving data-driven decision-making throughout the organization.
How You'll Make An Impact
- You will assume operational ownership of data products and applications built on Snowflake, ensuring their stability, performance, and reliability.
- Monitor platform operations, troubleshoot access and performance issues, and maintain security protocols for users across global sites.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve application issues and support strategic digitalization milestones, while maintaining and supporting existing AI-driven business applications.
- You will design, implement, and maintain data pipelines, data models, and transformation logic, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Analyze complex datasets to generate analytics that inform management decisions and business strategy, contributing to strategic digitalization programs., Our Transformation of Industry division is at the forefront of decarbonizing the industrial sector. Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Strong SQL and Python skills, with experience working with databases. Experience with Snowflake is an advantage, but candidates with solid database knowledge and a willingness to learn are welcome.
- Experience with enterprise systems such as SAP or Salesforce, as well as Power BI for reporting and data visualization.
- Interest in modern data technologies, AI solutions, and low-code platforms such as Mendix. Previous Mendix experience is not required, but curiosity and eagerness to learn new technologies are essential.
- Understanding of data transformation, automation, and AI concepts (e.g., document processing, business process automation, Large Language Models) is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across international and cross-functional teams, while working independently and taking ownership of assigned tasks.
- A proactive, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset, with a genuine interest in exploring new technologies and continuously improving existing solutions.
- Fluent English is required; German is a plus.
