Job description
Kforce's client is seeking an experienced Senior OpenPages Consultant for a remote role. This position will lead the design, implementation, customization, and support of IBM OpenPages Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) solutions for enterprise clients. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead OpenPages implementation, upgrade, migration, and enhancement projects
- Gather business requirements and translate them into technical and functional OpenPages solutions
- Configure and customize OpenPages applications, including workflows, calculations, fields, views, roles, groups, access controls, and object models
- Develop and maintain custom OpenPages components such as Triggers, Helpers, Custom Java Actions (CJAs), integrations, and REST API solutions
- Design and implement GRC solutions across Risk Management, Policy Management, Internal Audit, Compliance, IT Governance, Operational Risk, Third-Party Risk, and related modules
- Provide production support, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and system optimization
- Partner with stakeholders to define business processes and recommend best practices
- Develop technical specifications, solution design documents, and deployment plans
- Support data migration, environment management, package deployments, and configuration management
- Collaborate within Agile delivery teams using tools such as Jira, Confluence, and DevOps platforms
- Mentor junior consultants and provide technical leadership throughout project lifecycles
- Assist with testing, user acceptance activities, training, and go-live support
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience implementing and supporting IBM OpenPages solutions
- Strong expertise with OpenPages configuration, administration, and customization
- Experience developing OpenPages Triggers, Helpers, Workflows, Calculations, and Custom Java Actions
- Hands-on experience with OpenPages REST APIs and integrations
- Strong Java/J2EE development experience
- Experience with SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, DB2, or SQL Server
- Knowledge of application servers including IBM WebSphere and/or WebLogic
- Experience gathering requirements and creating technical design documentation
- Strong troubleshooting and production support experience
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- IBM OpenPages certifications
- Experience with OpenPages versions 7.x, 8.x, and/or 9.x
- Knowledge of Cognos reporting
- Experience integrating OpenPages with external platforms and enterprise applications
- Understanding of risk, audit, compliance, regulatory, and governance processes
- Experience in financial services, insurance, healthcare, or other highly regulated industries
- Exposure to Agile delivery methodologies and cloud-based deployments

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
