Job description
- Lead Epic Beacon implementation and enhancement projects.
- Gather and analyze business and clinical requirements from end users and stakeholders.
- Create Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), workflow diagrams, process maps, paper mockups, and project documentation.
- Design, configure, and build Epic Beacon solutions based on business needs.
- Lead validation sessions, testing activities, and workflow reviews.
- Develop project schedules and coordinate implementation milestones.
- Collaborate with clinical, operational, and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide recommendations for workflow optimization and process improvements.
- Assume ownership of assigned projects and influence solution design when needed.
- Ensure documentation complies with organizational standards and Epic best practices.
Requirements
We are seeking an experienced Senior Epic Beacon Application Analyst to support Epic Beacon implementation and optimization initiatives within a healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will be Epic Beacon Certified with previous Epic implementation experience and a proven ability to translate clinical requirements into scalable Epic solutions. This position requires a self-driven professional who can take ownership of projects, collaborate with clinical stakeholders, lead design discussions, and drive successful implementation from requirements gathering through build, validation, and deployment., * Current Epic Beacon Certification (or certification within the prior Epic release version).
- Previous Epic implementation experience is required.
- Strong experience gathering clinical requirements and translating them into Epic build.
- Experience creating BRDs, workflow documentation, flowcharts, and project schedules.
- Experience leading validation sessions, system testing, and application build activities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and project ownership skills.
Success Profile
- Clinical healthcare background or extensive experience supporting clinical applications.
- Experience working with oncology workflows and healthcare technology.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Experience working in large healthcare systems or multi-site Epic environments.
Benefits & conditions
Pay Range*: $110 - $125 per hour
