Job description

A media/entertainment industry client is seeking a Sr. Project Manager (IT Ops) to join their team! This individual will oversee end-to-end delivery of M&A integration projects, managing 5-7 concurrent company integrations at a time while ensuring alignment across initiation, discovery, and implementation phases. They will lead kickoff calls, manage intake and data-gathering sessions, track milestones, create RAG status reports, and provide daily/weekly updates to leadership. The role requires close coordination with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and data migration teams, while also driving accountability with acquired companies and internal stakeholders to keep timelines on track. This is a 6-month contract role, located in Los Angeles, CA with a hybrid requirement of 2-3 days onsite weekly.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience as a Senior Project/Program Manager in IT Operations or Enterprise IT
  • Strong program management experience overseeing multiple concurrent projects (5-7+)
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial tracking for large-scale programs
  • Expertise in project reporting, status tracking, and RAG reporting
  • Ability to manage cross-functional workstreams (security, infrastructure, data migration, etc.)
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to push back and hold teams accountable
  • Experience leading project phases: initiation, discovery, and implementation
  • Excellent communication skills with experience leading kickoff calls and executive reporting

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

  • Experience managing M&A integration projects (post-merger integration highly preferred)
  • Experience working in global environments
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity tools and compliance requirements
  • Exposure to infrastructure/networking concepts
