Job description
We are seeking a senior Technical Project Manager to lead and drive a critical, 6-month initiative embedded directly within our Enterprise Architecture team in Charlotte, NC. This position is ideal for a high-performing project delivery professional who excels at organizing complex technical roadmaps, aligning engineering stakeholders, and managing architecture resources.
A central focus of this role will be running projects tied directly to Ardoc resources and architecture tooling. This role requires a hybrid schedule, working onsite at our Charlotte office twice a week., * Project Leadership: End-to-end management of a high-impact architecture infrastructure project, keeping deliverables on schedule and within scope.
- Ardoc Resource Focus: Work closely with the Enterprise Architecture team to coordinate, track, and optimize Ardoc tool resources, structural dependencies, and technical artifacts.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner directly with Enterprise Architects, System Engineers, and Development Leads to map out technical dependencies, milestones, and project roadmaps.
- Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify project bottlenecks, clarify complex technical constraints, and drive resolution across multiple engineering teams.
- Stakeholder Communication: Provide clear, structured status updates and performance metrics to engineering leadership and business partners.
Requirements
- 6+ Years of IT Project Management Experience: Proven track record running complex software engineering, enterprise data, or IT infrastructure projects.
- Architecture & Ardoc Exposure: Prior experience working directly within or closely alongside an Enterprise Architecture team, with familiarity managing architecture mapping tools and resources (Ardoc or similar repositories).
- Strong Methodology Application: Mastery of Agile/Scrum and Waterfall frameworks with the ability to pivot styles based on the project phase.
- Exceptional Communication: The ability to translate deeply technical architectural concepts into clear project milestones and articulate updates fluidly to senior management.
- Tooling Familiarity: Experience using standard enterprise PM tooling (Jira, Confluence, MS Project) alongside modern architecture mapping or modeling concepts.
