Vice President of Technology

As the VP of Technology, you will serve as a strategic partner to the executive team, helping shape the future of the enterprise while leading critical technology initiatives across mortgage operations, data, systems integration, compliance, and AI enablement. • Lead enterprise-wide technology initiatives that improve scalability, efficiency, compliance, and customer experience.
• Serve as a key technology leader and trusted advisor across the organization, helping business leaders identify and implement impactful solutions.
• Drive modernization efforts through cloud technologies, automation, APIs, and emerging AI capabilities.
• Oversee the design, development, and support of mortgage technology platforms and integrations.
• Champion process improvement initiatives that streamline workflows and reduce operational friction.
• Collaborate with compliance, operations, sales, and fulfillment teams to ensure technology solutions align with regulatory and business requirements.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies that create competitive advantage and support long-term growth.
• Lead technical project prioritization, resource planning, and execution across multiple business functions.
• Build strong relationships with technology vendors and third-party solution providers.

Mortgage Technology & Systems Leadership

• Act as a senior technology leader responsible for optimizing and expanding the company's loan origination ecosystem.
• Lead the configuration, enhancement, and integration of mortgage technology platforms, including Encompass.
• Develop and enhance APIs, integrations, and automation workflows connecting key business systems.
• Improve data quality, reporting capabilities, system usability, and operational efficiency across the mortgage lifecycle.
• Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities for workflow automation and digital transformation.

AI & Innovation

• Support the company's growing investment in artificial intelligence and intelligent automation.
• Enable secure integrations between AI platforms and core business systems.
• Partner with AI and business teams to identify high-value use cases that improve productivity and customer experience.
• Establish technology frameworks that allow for scalable, compliant deployment of AI-powered solutions.

Leadership & Culture

• Lead, mentor, and develop technology professionals across engineering, systems, and infrastructure functions.
• Create accountability through strong project execution, communication, and measurable outcomes.
• Influence stakeholders at all levels while balancing innovation, risk management, and compliance considerations.

Skills: Mortgage Technology, Encompass LOS, API Integrations, Technology Leadership, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Software Development, Digital Transformation, Cloud Architecture, Mortgage Operations, Agile Project Management, * 10+ years of progressive technology leadership experience, including senior-level leadership within mortgage lending, banking, or financial services.

• Strong hands-on technical foundation with prior software development and systems integration experience.
• Expertise with Encompass and mortgage technology ecosystems.
• Experience developing and managing API-based integrations and enterprise technology solutions.
• Deep understanding of the mortgage origination process and related regulatory considerations.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence executive stakeholders.
• Knowledge of modern cloud architecture, data platforms, automation technologies, and emerging AI solutions.
• Strong project leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline preferred.
