Job description

As Senior Engineer - SAP Analytics Cloud - you will design, develop, and implement advanced analytics and planning solutions.You will architect, automate, and optimize high-performance SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) models and stories that empower leadership with financial insights. You will collaborate across finance and enterprise technology teams to bridge the gap between complex data architecture and strategic decision-making. You will report to the Manager of Analytical Engineering.

Collaborating closely with our newsrooms and strategic partners, we spearhead the development of groundbreaking products and technologies.

You Will:

  • Design and build end-to-end SAC solutions, including data models, stories (dashboards), and analytical applications

  • Implement SAC Planning models, leveraging Data Actions, Multi-Actions, and Advanced Formulas to support budgeting and forecasting

  • Configure live and import data connections between SAC and various sources (S/4HANA, Datasphere, and non-SAP sources like Snowflake)

  • Conduct performance tuning for stories and data models to ensure high-speed data rendering and a seamless user experience

  • Partner with FP&A and business leads to gather requirements and translate business "asks" into technical specifications

Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional experience in Analytics or Business Intelligence roles, with at least 2+ years of hands-on technical experience in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) within a finance-focused environment

  • Mastery of SAC advanced formulas, data actions, multi-actions, allocations, and currency conversion

  • Proven experience integrating and modeling data from both SAP (e.g., S/4HANA, Datasphere) and non-SAP sources into a unified analytics platform

  • Proficiency in SQL for data analysis

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field -OR- equivalent work experience

  • Proficiency with Tableau for data visualization, experience with Snowflake, relevant SAC certifications (a plus)

Base Pay Range: $125,000 - $155,000
