Job description
Provide day-to-day support for HIM operations during an Epic implementation, with a primary focus on Hospital Coding and Deficiency Tracking workflows. Partner closely with IT, operational leaders, and vendors to support system build validation, workflow optimization, end-user coaching, and change management activities. Assist with go-live preparation and onsite support, including occasional travel, while helping ensure a smooth transition and adoption of HIM processes across the organization.
Requirements
- HIM consultant, with strong experience in coding
- Certifications in: HIM Hospital Coding and HIM Deficiency Tracking, preferred additional certification in HIM Release of Information, Identity and HIM Gallery
- Also need data courier move badge
- Willingness to support strong change management Ability to coach others and work collaboratively with other IT resources and Operations as well as vendors
