Job description

Kforce's client in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a Workday Analyst responsible for system configuration, testing, reporting, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement efforts across HR technology platforms. Responsibilities:

  • Support and maintain Human Capital Management (HCM) platforms across areas including Payroll, Benefits, Time & Attendance, Employee Self-Service, Learning, and Workforce Management
  • Configure, test, validate, and deploy system enhancements, updates, and process improvements
  • Monitor system performance and ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements
  • Manage system access, security roles, and user permissions
  • Evaluate HR and payroll processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency through technology and automation
  • Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, and IT stakeholders to design and implement system solutions that align with business objectives
  • Document business requirements, process flows, and functional specifications for system enhancements and new initiatives
  • Participate in cross-functional projects focused on operational excellence and digital transformation
  • Develop, maintain, and distribute routine and ad hoc reports to support workforce planning and business decision-making
  • Support audit activities by ensuring accurate record management and reporting practices
  • Create and maintain user documentation, standard operating procedures, and training materials
  • Facilitate system training sessions and assist with user adoption of new functionality and business processes
  • Support HR system integrations and interfaces with internal and third-party applications
  • Assist with testing activities, quality assurance efforts, and system implementation projects
  • Research emerging HR technology trends and recommend innovative solutions that drive operational effectiveness

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience supporting HRIS, HCM, ERP, or People Systems environments
  • Experience with platforms such as Workday, PeopleSoft, Oracle HCM, UKG, SAP SuccessFactors, or similar systems
  • Knowledge of HR operations including payroll, benefits, compensation, workforce administration, and employee lifecycle processes
  • Experience with system configuration, reporting, troubleshooting, testing, and process improvement initiatives
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • HRIS, HCM, or HR Technology certification
  • Experience supporting public sector or highly regulated environments
  • Advanced reporting and data analysis experience
  • Experience participating in large-scale HR systems implementations or upgrades

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
