Job description
- Facilitate team breakouts to plan work and create PI objectives during PI Planning\n
- Facilitate planning and execution of work during a Program Increment through sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos\n
- Facilitate backlog refinement by collaborating with the product owners and business analysts\n
- Track and remove impediments to improve agile team's efficiency and effectiveness; reaching out to the larger organizational network for impediment removal; ensuring cross-team coordination\n
- Maintain relevant metrics to understand how well the team is doing and identify areas of improvement\n
- Perform capacity planning to help teams plan iterations and increments\n
- Collaborate with other Scrum Masters to manage dependencies and ensure consistency across teams\n
- Liaison with architects, cyber security SMEs, and other stakeholders; fostering quality communication between engineering disciplines\n
- Manage product releases and dependencies between teams and third parties or between assigned teams and other Scrum teams\n
- Support development of product roadmaps\n
- Coach the team to continuously improve and become a high performing team\n
- Develop new processes and refine existing processes to enhance quality and productivity\n
- Strengthen the presence of the team within the Agile communities of practice and actively contribute to the organization's Agile Community\n
- Ensure appropriate staffing for assigned Epics and Features\n
- Schedule and allocate work, providing advice and guidance, and resolving problems to meet technical performance and business objectives\n
- Ensure product quality and timeliness of efforts.\n
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, and seven years of related experience \n
- Certified Scrum Master or Certified SAFe Scrum Master with significant experience coaching Scrum teams\n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills\n
- Strong Agile background, with a minimum of three (3) years' experience leading teams using an Agile Scrum or Scaled Agile approach\n
- Understanding of all elements of software development including planning, development, requirements management, CM, quality assurance, and release management\n
- Highly responsible, team-oriented individual with very strong communication skills and work ethic; self-starter\n
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to pass an IT-1 background investigation.\n, * SAFe Advanced Scrum Master, SAFe Practitioner, or any other Scaled Agile Certification\n
- Prior Oracle EBS Federal Financial Management experience supporting DoD \n
- Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite, information exchanges, data warehouse\n
- Experience with test automation techniques and tools\n
- Experience with building in software security (BSIMM, security touchpoints)\n
- Experience with continuous deployment models\n
