Job description
Insight Global's client is seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer to support a leading organization in the software industry. This role sits within their Cloud Operations division and will initially focus on the "build" of their end clients' cloud environments during the first three months. Following this initial phase, your expertise will be leveraged in one of several strategic directions: continuing with environment builds, transitioning into a more automation-centric role, or potentially joining a new team within the organization based on evolving needs and your strengths. This position requires deep understanding of Cloud environments, expertise with tools such as Terraform/Ansible/Python/Git, and thorough communication skills., Configure cloud environments for application deployment
-Diagnose and resolve issues across cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
-Conduct packet capture analysis to troubleshoot connectivity and latency problems
-Interface with internal teams/groups to resolve technical issues and ensure network reliability
Requirements
7+ years of experience in a hands-on technical Cloud/DevOps enterprise environment (specifically looking for someone who has a DevOps background and strong knowledge/experience within Cloud)

4+ years with Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)

4+ years with Terraform for Iac

5+ years with Ansible for automation and configuration management, Ansible playbooks

Experience troubleshooting cloud environments/connectivity

Experience with a code management/repository tool such as Git/Github, and experience with a ticketing system such as Service Now

Python scripting for automation - Experience with VPN technologies for connectivity OpenVPN, WireGuard, and/or IPSec

Vast "tool kit" across areas such as IaC, Configuration Management, Scripting, CI/CD, Containerization, Cloud, Monitoring/Logging, Security/IAM, and more
