Liberty is undergoing a significant business and digital transformation to support its next phase of growth, scalability, and operational excellence. At the center of this transformation, the Oracle Fusion ERP Solution Architect will lead the solution architecture, design, and implementation of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, with primary responsibility for Projects, Financials, Procurement, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable.
This role is responsible for translating business strategy into scalable technology solutions by partnering with business leaders, Enterprise IT, and implementation partners to modernize core business processes, streamline operations, and establish a robust enterprise ERP platform. The Solution Architect will drive end-to-end solution design, integration, data governance, and adoption of Oracle leading practices to deliver a secure, scalable, and future-ready technology foundation., Solution Architecture & Business Transformation
- Lead the solution architecture, design, and implementation of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, with primary responsibility for Projects, Financials, Procurement, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Partner with Finance, Procurement, Operations, and business stakeholders to define future-state business processes and translate business requirements into scalable Oracle Cloud solutions.
- Drive standardization by adopting Oracle leading practices while minimizing customizations.
- Ensure alignment between business objectives, solution architecture, enterprise standards, and long-term technology strategy.
Oracle ERP Implementation & Delivery
- Serve as the functional and technical solution lead for Liberty's Oracle Fusion ERP implementation.
- Collaborate with System Integrators and Suffolk Enterprise IT to deliver solution configuration, integrations, data migration, testing, cutover, and production deployment.
- Review and approve solution designs, functional specifications, configuration workbooks, integration designs, security models, and testing deliverables.
- Support implementation governance by managing solution risks, issues, dependencies, and architectural decisions throughout the project lifecycle.
Enterprise Integration & Technical Leadership
- Define integration architecture between Oracle ERP and enterprise applications using middleware platforms such as Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or Boomi, REST APIs, FBDI, and other integration technologies.
- Lead solution design for data migration, master data management, security, workflows, approvals, and reporting.
- Partner with Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Data & Analytics, and Enterprise Architecture teams to ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and compliant with enterprise standards.
- Provide technical guidance to developers, integration teams, and implementation partners to resolve complex functional and technical challenges.
Business Partnership & Stakeholder Engagement
- Build strong partnerships with Finance, Procurement, Operations, Suffolk Enterprise IT, and external implementation partners.
- Facilitate solution design workshops and communicate technical concepts in business terms to support informed decision-making.
- Provide architectural leadership during executive governance meetings and support business readiness, organizational change, and user adoption.
- Act as a trusted advisor to business and IT leadership on Oracle Cloud capabilities, roadmap, and emerging technologies.
Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement
- Develop and maintain Oracle ERP solution standards, governance, and documentation.
- Evaluate Oracle quarterly releases and recommend implement enhancements that improve automation, user experience, operational efficiency, and business value.
- Drive continuous improvement across enterprise applications by optimizing business processes, integrations, reporting, and system performance.
- Monitor application health, support production issue resolution, and identify opportunities to maximize the value of Liberty's Oracle Cloud investment.
Requirements
Beyond the initial ERP implementation, this role will provide ongoing architectural leadership across Liberty's enterprise application portfolio, identifying opportunities to optimize business processes, improve system integration, leverage automation and AI capabilities, and maximize the value of Oracle Cloud investments. The ideal candidate combines deep Oracle Fusion expertise with strong business acumen, technical leadership, and the ability to influence stakeholders and deliver enterprise-scale transformation., * Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
- 8+ years of Oracle ERP experience, including 5+ years with Oracle Fusion Cloud.
- Hands-on experience implementing Oracle Fusion Project Financials, Procurement, AP, and AR.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Cloud configuration, security, workflows, reporting, and enterprise integrations.
- Experience with middleware platforms such as Boomi, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST/SOAP APIs, FBDI, BI Publisher, OTBI, SQL, and Oracle Fusion Analytics Warehouse (FAW) preferred.
- Experience with construction or project-based organizations and project accounting is highly desirable.
- Oracle Cloud certifications are a plus.
