Develop Novel Algorithms: Contribute to cutting-edge development programs by innovating RF signal processing techniques and creating analytics, visualization, and discovery tools that enable precise geolocation and actionable insights.

Ensure Interoperability: Integrate new and legacy software across diverse hardware platforms, ensuring performance and interoperability across various form factors.

Drive System Design Decisions: Provide critical input to system design decisions, including hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse strategies, and the incorporation of COTS and GOTS solutions.
What you will do
As a Database Engineer, you'll:

Design & Develop Databases: Support database design, development, implementation, information storage, and retrieval activities.

Analyze & Optimize Systems: Assist with the analysis and evaluation of system improvements, optimization, development, and maintenance efforts.

Define Requirements: Develop long- and short-term requirements for database administration and design.

Create Usable Solutions: Translate requirements and data into usable database schemas by creating ad hoc queries, scripts, and macros; update existing queries and create new ones to manipulate data into master files.

Build Complex Systems: Develop database parser software, database loading software, and database structures that fit into the overall architecture of the system under development.

Lead Development Efforts: Take ownership of database structures and software development, ensuring they align with system architecture and meet project requirements.
Requirements

Experience: Five (5) years of experience as a Database Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university. (Four years of additional DBE experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.)

Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph (required).

Technical Expertise:

Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases, including Oracle, Postgres, MongoDB, and Redis.

Proficiency in SQL and associated tools (e.g., SQL Developer).

Experience developing long- and short-term requirements for database administration and design.
What we'd like you to have
- Elasticsearch Experience: Familiarity with Elasticsearch and its integration into database systems.
