Job description

  • The Full Stack Software Engineer role will revolve primarily around a Node.js backend and a React.js front end while also supporting the team on various side projects, proof of concepts, and production maintenance.
  • A typical day will consist of:
  • Implementing scalable REST APIs and application UIs
  • Identifying bottlenecks and improve software efficiency
  • Troubleshooting and fixing bugs
  • Contributing towards unit tests and test-automation
  • Documenting for internal and external clients
  • 2 week sprints; code is released weekly

Requirements

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship not available., * Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field - they must have a degree related to computer science- required!

  • 2-5 years of experience as full stack engineer
  • Well-versed in back-end development with languages like Node.js, Java (8+), etc.
  • If they dont have node but have Java- thats ok!
  • If they dont have angular but have react, thats ok!
  • They need to have experience writing well-documented REST APIs -
  • They need to have experience in writing test automation scripts
  • Strong understanding of SQL and Relational Databases
  • If they have postgres, great! Or any RDBMs will do!
  • Well-versed in front-end frameworks, preferably ReactJS/Typescript
  • The secret is- well versed!
  • IaC (Infrastructure as a Code) experience using Terraform is strongly preferred.
  • Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud - most candidates will have this, as everyone is working in the cloud now!
